Emma worked as an Accountant for 20 years with much of her earlier career focused on commercial finance in London.
Her eldest daughter was born in 2013 and a year later she started her own accountancy practice part time, from her spare room, in order to fit around my family. Her second daughter was born in 2016 and soon after that she began to build her business up to where it is today.
Emma is passionate about small business, with her Dad being a small business owner she grew up understanding the joys and challenges of owning a small business. Emma knows that for many small businesses finance can be intimidating. Most business owners are managing work around a busy family life and need to focus their time on delivering a great service to their customers. This means the bookkeeping often falls down the priority list until the tax return deadline.
Emma’s aim is to support small businesses, giving them the tools to organise and stay in control of their finances. You don't need to be a qualified Accountant to understand the basics - you just need a little bit of support!
